[Price Reporting] Ti Alloys : Ti 6242, Ti 62222, Ti 15333
1. Reporting Duration: March 17, 2025 – March 21, 2025
2. Introduction to Metals: Alloy Price Analysis including Titanium Alloys
3. Summary: Between March 17 and 21, 2025, prices for Ti 6242, Ti 62222, and Ti 15333 alloys declined by $0.01 per kilogram. This decrease was mainly driven by lower aluminum and tin prices. Titanium prices remained stable at $11.27 per kilogram due to steady supply from India and Russian exports to Asia. However, slower demand from aerospace and automotive industries continued to exert upward pressure on prices. Aluminum prices fell due to global demand uncertainty. Tin prices dropped because of economic concerns and a strong US dollar. In contrast, chromium prices rose due to supply shortages and increased demand. This positively impacted titanium alloy prices. As a result, Ti 6242 may experience slight declines. Meanwhile, Ti 62222 and Ti 15333 alloys are expected to see upward trends due to the increase in chromium prices. The overall market outlook reflects a balance between rising chromium prices and falling aluminum and tin prices.
