Expanded Sourcing Platform Integrates Metal Additive Manufacturing
Replique, the digital platform based in Mannheim, Germany, is unveiling significant updates to its end-to-end production sourcing platform and Material Hub at the upcoming Formnext exhibition. The new features include the integration of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) alongside traditional manufacturing technologies like forging, casting, and injection molding. This move broadens the platform’s capabilities, allowing users to source a wider range of production technologies and materials, streamlining their sourcing processes.
Material Hub Offers Advanced Comparison Tools for Informed Decision-Making
Since its launch in 2023, Replique’s Material Hub has attracted over 400 active users. The latest upgrades to the hub include a side-by-side material comparison feature that enables users to evaluate various materials quickly and make better-informed decisions. This addition is designed to reduce sourcing time and increase precision in material selection, offering detailed property data for applications across a range of industries.
Targeting New Partnerships with Metal Manufacturers
Replique’s new updates also reflect the company’s continued commitment to expanding its network of suppliers. By adding metal AM options, the platform is positioning itself to establish new partnerships with metal manufacturers, aiming to bring their materials into the hub for a more integrated sourcing experience. Jan Weickel, Technical Sales Manager at Replique, commented, “The addition of metal materials is a major step in democratizing Additive Manufacturing, offering businesses a unified platform for diverse production needs.”
Over 250 Production Partners Enable Flexible Sourcing for Customers
The platform now offers access to over 250 production partners, giving users the flexibility to choose the best technology for their specific applications. Whether sourcing individual parts or larger-scale serial production, Replique’s platform allows companies to quickly adapt to market demands and streamline their procurement processes. CEO Max Siebert noted that the expanded platform caters to customer desires for centralized, flexible sourcing in an increasingly complex manufacturing landscape.
