Expanded Sourcing Platform Integrates Metal Additive Manufacturing
Replique, the digital production sourcing platform based in Mannheim, Germany, is unveiling major updates to its end-to-end sourcing platform and Material Hub at the upcoming Formnext exhibition. These updates include the integration of metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) alongside traditional manufacturing methods such as forging, casting, and injection molding. This expansion enhances the platform’s ability to provide a wider range of production technologies and materials, streamlining sourcing processes for users.
Material Hub Offers Advanced Comparison Tools for Informed Decision-Making
Since its launch in 2023, Replique’s Material Hub has attracted over 400 active users. The latest upgrades introduce a side-by-side material comparison tool, allowing users to quickly evaluate different materials and make more data-driven decisions. These features are designed to reduce sourcing time while improving precision in material selection, offering detailed property data for applications across various industries.
Targeting New Partnerships with Metal Manufacturers
Replique’s latest updates also signal the company’s commitment to expanding its supplier network. By adding metal AM options, the platform is strengthening its ability to collaborate with metal manufacturers and incorporate new materials into its Material Hub.
Jan Weickel, Technical Sales Manager at Replique, emphasized the impact of these updates, stating: “The addition of metal materials is a major step in democratizing Additive Manufacturing, offering businesses a unified platform for diverse production needs.”
