1. Introduce
– Also known as HP-Mod, HP-Mod.NB, HP40(25Cr-35Ni), Thermet HP40Nb, 35Ni25Cr1Nb0.4C
– Heat resistant alloy with good creep strength, high temperature oxidation, and carbonization resistance
– Typical application is the manufacture of cast catalytic reforming tubes for hydrogen production; also used extensively in the petrochemical and petroleum refining industries in high temperature applications
– Heat resistant casting alloys for high temperatures above 850~1050℃
* Cast 25Cr-35Ni catalytic reforming tubes
– Tubes designed to provide 100,000+ hours of service life at temperatures above 900°C
– Better suited as a material for reformer tubes than common heat-resistant alloys (HK40, HK, SS310), performing longer stress-rupture lives
– Produced by centrifugal casting, HP-Mod tubes are used in reformer and pyrolysis furnace applications
– Properties : Excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance, oxidation resistance, high temperature stability, high temperature durability
* Heat resistant alloy
– Alloys designed to withstand oxidizing and corrosive environments during prolonged use at temperatures exceeding 650℃
– Mostly cast from molten metal containing high amounts of Ni and Cr, with alloying elements such as Nb, Ti, V, and Zr forming stable precipitates at operating temperatures to provide even better creep resistance
– Produced by centrifugal casting and used under high pressure and high temperature conditions
(furnaces, transfer lines, heaters, equipment tubing, petrochemical, heat treatment industries, etc.)
