American Wire Works (AWW), a leader in industrial wire products, has completed the acquisition of Ace Metal, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer based in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. This strategic move adds nearly 80 years of experience in metal spool and wire carrier production, enhancing AWW’s capacity to serve key sectors like aerospace, defense, energy, and infrastructure.

Expanding Domestic Capabilities and Innovation

The American Wire Works acquisition positions AWW to better meet the growing demand for durable, high-precision wire products. Industries such as aerospace and defense rely on quality materials, and this acquisition boosts AWW’s ability to provide them efficiently. Ace Metal’s expertise in metal spools and wire carriers complements AWW’s existing portfolio, enabling the company to offer more tailored solutions.

Phil Fusacchia, AWW’s President and Owner, emphasized the acquisition’s significance: “This acquisition enhances U.S. manufacturing while supporting innovation within our wire products. It strengthens our ongoing efforts to modernize operations and provide better service to customers.”

Ace Metal Works Continues Operations with Focus on Efficiency

As part of the acquisition, Ace Metal will now operate under the name Ace Metal Works, continuing its operations at the current Clifton Heights facility. This transition ensures customers will experience uninterrupted service. AWW will retain Ace Metal’s skilled workforce, recognizing the importance of their expertise in high-quality product manufacturing. The integration will improve efficiency while maintaining the level of craftsmanship customers expect.

Fusacchia added, “This acquisition broadens our product range and enhances manufacturing processes. With Ace Metal’s expertise, we can provide more customized solutions and drive innovation for our clients.”

The American Wire Works acquisition marks a significant step in strengthening AWW’s domestic manufacturing base, expanding its product offerings, and positioning the company for continued growth in the industrial wire sector.
