Austin-based lithium-ion battery recycler Austin Elements Inc. (AEI) has earned ISO 17025 certification for analytical testing. This international standard assures the precision of battery-grade material assessments. It covers lithium carbonate, iron phosphate, black mass, and metal sulfates.
According to AEI, this recognition makes it the first U.S. company in the battery recycling sector to achieve ISO 17025 status. The company says this milestone reflects a deep commitment to technical excellence in recycled materials. In addition, it enhances trust in their ability to deliver consistent, high-purity outputs for the energy transition.
