Bentley Batur Features Rose Gold 3D Printed Interiors
Bentley has unveiled a one-of-a-kind Batur model, featuring luxurious rose gold 3D printed interiors. Known for its bespoke craftsmanship, the luxury carmaker introduced “The Black Rose” edition, part of a limited run of only 18 Baturs. Each car features unique customizations, showcasing the exceptional Bentley Batur customization.

Rose Gold 3D Printing in the Batur
A standout feature of the Batur is the 3D printed rose gold elements, which enhance key touchpoints. The designers use up to 210 grams of 18-karat rose gold in components such as the Drive Mode Selector, Organ Stop vent controls, and a rose gold insert marker on the steering wheel. Cooksongold, a Birmingham-based jewelry supplier, collaborates with Bentley to produce these parts using direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) technology.
Bentley sources the rose gold from 100% recycled jewelry, adding a sustainable element to the luxury car. The precision of 3D printing allows for intricate details, giving the Batur’s interior an elevated, modern design.
The Black Rose Exterior and Additional Customizations
“The Black Rose” edition goes beyond the interior. The car features striking Black Rose paint and satin rose gold accents, including the front grille, bonnet brightware, mirror caps, lower body kit, and tri-tone wheels. These custom touches enhance the car’s elegant and high-performance design.
Bentley’s Commitment to 3D Printing and Innovation
Bentley’s dedication to 3D printing isn’t new. In 2022, the company introduced 18ct yellow gold components for the Batur, marking an automotive first. Bentley also invested 3 million GBP to expand its 3D printing capabilities at its Crewe, UK, headquarters. This allows for the production of low-volume, high-quality components like gold parts in future models.
The automotive industry has increasingly adopted additive manufacturing (AM), especially for luxury and high-performance vehicles. Bugatti has used AM for parts like brake calipers and exhaust pipes since 2019. McLaren also applies AM technology for suspension enhancements in its W1 supercar.
Conclusion: A New Era in Luxury Automotive Customization
Bentley’s innovative use of 3D printed rose gold and other precious metals reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to bespoke design. As 3D printing evolves, manufacturers are creating highly personalized, high-performance components, transforming the future of luxury vehicles. Bentley is leading the way in this new era of automotive customization.
