Expanding Automation Solutions
DeGeest Corp. has recently acquired the North American rights to patented technologies and equipment from Eurosider, enabling the company to introduce advanced European finishing systems to manufacturers across North America. This partnership aims to assist businesses at various stages of their automation journey, ensuring they can enhance their finishing processes without major disruptions.
Innovative Finishing Technologies
The technologies from Eurosider, which were previously distributed through Coating Delivery Technology, include the Nitrotherm and Polifluid systems. These cutting-edge solutions utilize nitrogen as a carrier instead of traditional compressed air, resulting in a more consistent finish for both liquid and powder applications. By eliminating variables such as temperature and humidity during the finishing process, these systems help manufacturers achieve higher quality results.
Seamless Integration into Existing Operations
Derek DeGeest, president of DeGeest Corp. and LestaUSA, expressed enthusiasm about this development. “We’ve been collaborating with Lesta and its self-learning robotic technology for years, so adding Eurosider to our offerings allows us to provide a more comprehensive solution to our customers,” he stated. The integration of Eurosider’s technologies can be accomplished without interrupting current manual operations, making it easier for manufacturers to enhance their processes gradually.
Preparing for Full Automation
DeGeest emphasized that reducing process variables is a crucial step in preparing for future automation. Once these technologies are in place, manufacturers can incorporate advanced solutions like Lesta robots, enabling them to finish a greater number of parts without the need for additional hiring. This strategic approach not only streamlines operations but also positions manufacturers for success as they evolve toward full automation.
Through this collaboration, DeGeest Corp. is set to empower manufacturers with innovative solutions that bridge the gap between manual and automated processes, ultimately enhancing productivity and quality in the metal finishing industry.
