
EOS GmbH, a global leader, announced a major milestone. They installed their 5,000th Additive Manufacturing (AM) machine. The machine, an EOS M 400-4, went to Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM). KAM is in Statesville, North Carolina. This marks a significant achievement for EOS.
KAM Expands Capabilities with EOS Technology
KAM, a longtime EOS customer, is now part of ADDMAN. They use AM technology for complex applications. These applications span defense, aerospace, energy, and medical sectors. The EOS M 400-4 expands KAM’s portfolio. They now have 18 EOS AM machines. The ADDMAN group now has 36 EOS machines.
Vision and Future of Additive Manufacturing
Marie Langer, CEO of EOS, expressed pride. She stated the potential for AM innovation is limitless. Dr. Hans Langer, EOS founder, envisioned transforming manufacturing. He sought to use data, analytics, machines, and robotics. This would drive efficiency and sustainability.
