Self-Powered Conveyors Designed for Bulk Material Handling
Masaba Inc., based in Vermillion, South Dakota, has introduced a new line of self-contained hydraulic radial stacking conveyors, designed specifically for industries like aggregate, mining, recycling, and marine. These stackers are powered by a 72-horsepower Yanmar diesel hydraulic power unit, enabling them to operate independently of external power sources, making them ideal for road- and pit-portable operations at remote job sites.

The new conveyors offer high mobility and performance, built with the same durability and quality as Masaba’s traditional electric-powered stackers. They feature robust construction using heavy-duty components and high-quality steel, ensuring that they can handle tough bulk material handling tasks. Available in 36-inch belt width and 80-foot and 100-foot lengths, the conveyors can be customized to meet specific customer needs.

High Capacity and Versatility for Material Handling
These self-contained stackers provide 500 tons per hour capacity at an 18-degree incline, making them highly efficient for a variety of material handling requirements. Key features include self-cleaning tail pulleys, CEMA Class B idlers, onboard counterweights, and safety guards. The conveyors are easily maneuvered via a heavy-duty fifth-wheel hitch and onboard lifting eyes. Masaba’s stackers can be used as inline transfer conveyors or as radial stackers with hydraulic raise, lower, and fold capabilities on the 100-foot model.

Masaba also offers optional features, such as hydraulic landing gear, belt scrapers, impact idlers, and rock box hoppers, allowing for further customization to meet specific operational needs.
