Resolution Minerals Acquires Strategic Horse Heaven Project

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) has signed a binding agreement to acquire the Horse Heaven Antimony-Gold-Silver-Tungsten Project, located in Idaho’s Stibnite Mining District. This acquisition positions RML to capitalize on the growing demand for critical minerals, particularly antimony, tungsten, and gold, in the United States. The Horse Heaven Project, adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite Gold-Antimony Project, offers a significant strategic advantage, as it is situated in an area rich with valuable mineralization.

Horse Heaven hosts two high-potential mineralized corridors—the Antimony Ridge Fault Zone (ARFZ) and the Golden Gate Fault Zone (GGFZ). These zones contain known deposits of gold, antimony, and tungsten. Furthermore, both prospects are drill-ready, with drilling planned for 2025. Historical drilling and rock chip results have shown promising mineralization, indicating that Horse Heaven could yield large tonnage mining potential in the coming years.

Horse Heaven Project: A Transformative Opportunity for Resolution Minerals

The Horse Heaven Project provides RML with an advantageous position in the U.S. critical minerals market. Antimony, in particular, is considered a vital material for various industrial applications, including battery technology and defense. With U.S. government policies increasingly favoring onshore production of critical minerals, this acquisition offers RML a prime opportunity to become a key player in the sector. The project also holds significant historical value, with past production of antimony, tungsten, and gold, enhancing its long-term potential.

The geological prospects at Horse Heaven include high-grade rock chip samples, with results such as 3.68g/t gold, 303g/t silver, and 2.72% antimony over 4m, as well as drilling intersections like 85.34m at 0.937g/t Au. These results highlight the strong mineralization potential in the area, making it a valuable addition to RML’s portfolio. Moreover, with 70,000 ounces of gold and a historical gold resource of 216,000 ounces at Golden Gate Hill, the project could contribute significantly to the company’s growth.

SuperMetalPrice Commentary:

Resolution Minerals’ acquisition of the Horse Heaven Project marks an important step in the company’s expansion into the U.S. critical minerals sector. With rising demand for materials like antimony and tungsten in industries such as battery manufacturing and electric vehicles, this acquisition places RML at the forefront of an increasingly valuable market. As global demand for these minerals continues to grow, the strategic location of the Horse Heaven Project and its rich mineralization could provide Resolution Minerals with a strong competitive edge.
