Temas Resources Expands Critical Mineral Drilling at La Blache

Temas Resources has completed its autumn/winter HQ diamond drilling programme at the La Blache property in Quebec, Canada. Meanwhile, the campaign covered 2,302 meters, with drill core samples sent to ALS Geochemistry in Lachine, Quebec. As a result, assay results are expected to start arriving in January 2026.

In addition, Temas will re-assay 181 historic drill holes totaling 36,614 meters. This process focuses on gallium and rare earth elements (REEs) to refine the resource model. The company aims to expand and upgrade the Farrell-Taylor massive oxide (MO) inferred resource, currently estimated at 108.8 million tonnes. This resource contains 17.83% titanium dioxide, 0.32% vanadium oxide, and 59.4% iron oxide.

Early drilling observations have also highlighted the presence of gallium and scandium alongside titanium and vanadium. Importantly, these critical metals are essential for aerospace alloys, semiconductors, and other high-performance industrial applications. CEO Tim Fernback emphasized that the programme strengthens La Blache’s strategic value for both metal supply and mineral processing innovation.

 

RCL Technology Integration Supports Critical Mineral Strategy

Temas Resources plans to integrate its patented regenerative chloride leach (RCL) technology into La Blache’s development. Consequently, this next-generation processing method aims to reduce costs by up to 65% while improving recovery rates for titanium, vanadium, rare earths, and other critical metals. Initial RCL results are expected in early 2026.

Furthermore, the company is exploring licensing and joint venture opportunities for its RCL technology on third-party ores, including gold, silver, nickel, and REEs. As a result, La Blache serves as a testbed for developing complex polymetallic deposits efficiently. Phase II of the drilling programme is scheduled for early-to-mid 2026, reinforcing Temas’ long-term critical mineral strategy.
