High-Grade Drill Results at Boumadine Project

Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA; OTCQX: AYASF) has unveiled promising new drill results from its 2024-2025 exploration program at the Boumadine Project in Morocco. The results extend the mineralized Imariren trend by an additional 400 meters. They confirm the high-grade continuity along the Boumadine Main Trend. The company also announced the acquisition of four new permits to the west. This increases the Boumadine exploration footprint by 15.7%, expanding to over 314.5 km².

Notable High-Grade Intercepts:

  • BOU-DD25-516: 5,373 g/t silver equivalent (AgEq) over 0.5 meters (66.7 g/t gold, 111 g/t silver, 1.6% zinc, 1.0% lead, 0.1% copper)

  • BOU-DD25-513: 591 g/t AgEq over 1.8 meters (5.19 g/t gold, 118 g/t silver, 1.0% zinc, 0.2% lead, 0.5% copper)

  • BOU-DD24-465: 199 g/t AgEq over 10.6 meters (0.48 g/t gold, 81 g/t silver, 2.0% zinc, 1.3% lead, 0.02% copper)

These high-grade intercepts underscore the significant potential of Boumadine to become a major resource. Aya’s drilling program continues to expand both the depth and the strike length of the mineralization. The expansion is particularly notable along the Imariren Zone and the Tizi structure.

Expanding Boumadine’s Footprint and Continuity

Aya Gold & Silver’s exploration work at Boumadine has demonstrated a clear continuation of the high-grade mineralization, not only along the Main Trend but also at the Tizi Zone, extending the mineralized strike to 0.7 kilometers. The company has successfully mobilized six drill rigs to execute a robust 100,000m to 140,000m drilling program. This program aims to continue extending the known mineralization trends along strike and depth, moving towards a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA).

New Permits and Expansion Strategy:
In addition to the recent drill results, Aya secured four new exploration permits. These permits consolidate a 314.5 km² land package. They give the company exploration rights over a total of 600 km². The new permits strengthen Aya’s position in the region. They provide ample opportunity for further discoveries as exploration continues.

The company’s ongoing drilling program focuses on advancing the Boumadine Main Trend and Tizi mineralization. It also targets new greenfield exploration areas. Aya is optimistic about the project’s potential. Mineralization remains open in all directions.

SuperMetalPrice Commentary:

Aya Gold & Silver’s recent high-grade drill results from the Boumadine Project solidify the project’s potential as a large-scale, high-grade deposit. The addition of four new permits and the continuation of the exploration program demonstrate Aya’s commitment to expanding its resource base. The Boumadine Project, with its extensive footprint and high-grade mineralization, could significantly contribute to the company’s growth in the coming years. As the exploration results continue to unfold, Aya is positioning itself as a key player in Morocco’s growing mining sector.
