* Permalloy
- typically an alloy with 35 to 80% Ni and 20% Fe
- alloys with the characteristics of very high permeability and low magnetic hysteresis losses
* Soft magnetic materials : High permeability materials with the characteristics of high permeability, low coercivity and low hysteresis losses
→ Permeability : A measure of how much magnetization occurs when an external magnetic field is applied
→ Coercivity : the strength of an external magnetic field required to zero out the magnetization of a ferromagnet
→ Hysteresis : A phenomenon in which a certain amount of magnetization remains when an external magnetic field is removed without returning to the original state
→ High permeability materials : magnetic materials that are easily magnetized even with weak magnetic fields
* Magnetic shielding : Reducing the magnetic field in space by blocking the magnetic field with a barrier made of conductive or magnetic materials
