STS Metals, based in Irwindale, California, has expanded its global footprint by acquiring Brown Europe, a leading European manufacturer of wires and bars in alloy steels, stainless steels, and superalloys. Brown Europe operates two facilities in France—Brive-la-Gaillarde and Laval-de-Cere—and has built a strong reputation over its 39 years of operation. The company specializes in wire drawing and processing for the aerospace industry, focusing on high-performance materials used in fasteners. Its deep expertise in alloy steels and superalloys positions it as a key partner for major aerospace fastener manufacturers.
