Strategic Move to Support the Growing Electric Vehicle Market

Giyani Metals plans to produce battery-grade high-purity manganese sulfate monohydrate (HPMSM) from its K Hill project in Botswana by the fourth quarter of 2024. The demonstration plant aims to yield up to 600 kg of HPMSM daily using a continuous production process, enhancing quality and consistency for potential EV industry partners. CEO Charles FitzRoy highlighted the company’s goal to be a leading Western supplier of low-carbon, sustainable HPMSM, crucial for the growth of lithium-ion batteries in the electric vehicle sector.
