Canada-based Globex Mining Enterprises has confirmed a significant rare earth discovery in south-eastern Nevada. The company identified strong rare earth mineralisation at its newly acquired Gem Hills property. X-ray diffraction testing confirmed key mineral phases. These include dolomite, calcite, gibbsite, fluorite and monazite. Importantly, the company detected no uranium or thorium radiation anomalies. This absence could support cleaner extraction pathways compared to conventional rare earth sources.
