Strategic Consolidation Enhances Forged Components Business

Westbrook Energy Group has officially rebranded as OneWest to strengthen its forging operations and expand its market presence. This decision follows a strategic consolidation of several key acquisitions, including Forge USA, Viking Iron Works, and Western of Texas, now operating under OneWest Manufacturing Partners. Despite the consolidation, Westbrook Manufacturing, Federal Flange, and Forged Components will continue to operate under their separate brands.

Optimizing Operations and Enhancing Brand Synergy

The goal of OneWest is to streamline its operations while ensuring that each brand maintains its distinct identity where needed. Viking Iron Works, based in Poughkeepsie, New York, specializes in open die forgings for the aerospace and industrial markets. The company works with materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, and titanium, offering machining, heat treating, and testing services. Viking’s forging capacity can reach up to 2,600 pounds.

Forge USA, located in Houston, Texas, manufactures open die forgings weighing between 1,000 and 55,000 pounds for various industrial applications. The company is well-known for its work in carbon, alloy, and stainless steel forging, serving high-demand industries with precision.

Western of Texas, based in Kountze, Texas, focuses on flange production for industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, and mining. It forges rings, disks, and blocks up to 55,000 pounds, using materials like stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, and low-temperature alloys.

Reinforcing Commitment to Service Continuity and Growth

OneWest has assured its customers that despite the rebranding, its commitment to high-quality service and operations will remain unchanged. The goal is to enhance efficiency while reinforcing the company’s presence in crucial industries. This rebrand is a step toward solidifying OneWest’s position in the competitive forging market, aiming for long-term growth and expanded market share.
