Terronera Mine Achieves Key Milestone in Silver Production

Endeavour Silver has officially brought the Terronera mine in Jalisco, Mexico to commercial production status, marking a major step forward in the company’s growth strategy. After a 100-day commissioning period, the mine surpassed 90% of its 2,000 tonnes per day nameplate capacity, while also reaching target metal recovery rates. This milestone reinforces Endeavour’s transition into a leading mid-tier silver producer with expanding assets across Latin America.

CEO Dan Dickson called the achievement “transformational,” highlighting Terronera’s strategic importance for future expansion. From July through early October, the mine experienced just eight days of downtime, with strong recoveries recorded since mid-August. Endeavour expects to process 360,000 tonnes of ore over the next six months, with average grades of 122 g/t silver and 2.52 g/t gold.

Meanwhile, higher-grade zones are projected to be accessible by mid-2026, potentially increasing throughput and profitability. The company plans to release full production and cost guidance for Terronera in January 2026, giving the market clearer expectations for 2026 and beyond.

Endeavour Silver Expands Footprint Across Latin America

Endeavour Silver continues to grow its mining portfolio across key silver and gold districts in the Americas. In addition to Terronera, the company operates four producing mines in Mexico and Peru. Its May 2025 acquisition of Compañia Minera Kolpa and the Huachocolpa Uno Mine in Peru for $145 million further expands its regional presence and asset base.

The company also holds a strong pipeline of exploration projects in Mexico, Chile, and the United States. This geographic diversification supports Endeavour’s goal to become a more resilient and scalable silver producer, especially amid growing global interest in precious metals as inflation hedges and industrial inputs.

As Terronera ramps up to full output and future projects mature, Endeavour Silver is well-positioned to meet rising demand in both jewelry and industrial applications, including clean energy and electronics.

SuperMetalPrice Commentary:

Terronera’s successful move into commercial production is a pivotal moment for Endeavour Silver. In a market where mid-tier miners struggle with development delays and cost overruns, Endeavour’s efficient commissioning process sets a high standard. With strong silver grades, predictable throughput, and future access to higher-grade zones, Terronera could quickly become a cornerstone asset. As silver remains essential to solar panels, electric vehicles, and electronics, producers like Endeavour that can scale responsibly will likely command greater investor attention. The upcoming production guidance in January 2026 will serve as a key indicator of operational discipline and strategic direction.
