Volta Metals Springer Rare Earth Drill Results Extend Mineralisation
Volta Metals has released new drill results from the Springer rare earth deposit in Ontario. The Volta Metals Springer rare earth drill results come from the company’s inaugural drilling campaign. The project sits near Sudbury, a well-established Canadian mining jurisdiction.
Every reported drill hole intersected continuous mineralisation below the 2012 resource shell. Moreover, drilling confirmed expansion potential both at depth and along strike. These results strengthen confidence in future resource growth.
The company highlighted wide intercepts of total rare earth oxides across multiple holes. As a result, Springer continues to demonstrate scale and geological continuity. The Volta Metals Springer rare earth drill results support an updated resource estimate.
Volta Metals Springer Rare Earth Drill Results Highlight HREE Strength
Heavy rare earth elements featured prominently across the drill programme. Borehole SL25-24 returned 184.04 grams per tonne of dysprosium and terbium oxides over 27.1 meters. These elements command strong pricing in global magnet markets.
Rare Earth Grades Support EV and Wind Demand
Borehole SL25-23 averaged 0.89% total rare earth oxides across 383.5 meters. Meanwhile, SL25-26 delivered 0.65% total rare earth oxides over 283.8 meters. Both holes showed continuous mineralisation to the end of drilling.
Heavy rare earth oxides represent 10.9% of the total rare earth basket value. Dysprosium and terbium support permanent magnets for electric vehicles and wind turbines. Therefore, the Volta Metals Springer rare earth drill results align with clean energy demand.
Volta Metals plans to update its NI 43-101 resource in early 2026. The company also advances its acquisition of the Springer-Lavergne project stake.
SuperMetalPrice Commentary:
Springer stands out as a rare earth project with scale and heavy element exposure. Canada’s stable jurisdiction adds strategic value amid global supply risks.
Meanwhile, dysprosium and terbium prices strengthen project economics. SuperMetalPrice views Volta Metals as well positioned for the energy transition metals cycle.
