1. Introduce
– Age-hardenable Ni-based superalloy with excellent strength characteristics even at temperatures down to 980°C
– Has useful strength at temperatures from 760 to 870°C
– Used in stressed environments at temperatures above 800°C
– Good oxidation resistance in gas turbine engine atmospheres up to 870°C
– Good resistance to high temperature corrosion and sulfidation at 982°C
