Significant Lithium Intercepts Confirm Growth Potential at Cisco Project

Q2 Metals Corp. (TSX.V: QTWO) announced impressive assay results from its 2025 drilling campaign at the  in Quebec. Drill hole CS25-036 returned a remarkable 272.5 metres grading 1.61% Li2O, confirming the substantial width of the mineralized zone. Additionally, holes CS25-038 and CS25-039 yielded multiple intervals exceeding 1.5% Li2O, with notable intercepts such as 108.5 metres at 1.62% Li2O and 107.4 metres at 1.87% Li2O. These results support the company’s efforts to expand and define the resource with ongoing drilling.

Focused Drilling Supports 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate at Cisco Lithium Project

The Cisco Project benefits from a robust drilling program with three rigs currently active and a fourth scheduled to start by late October 2025. The company focuses on infill drilling within the main mineralized zone to improve resource confidence. According to Neil McCallum, Q2 Metals’ Vice President of Exploration, the mineralized zone remains open both at depth and along strike, indicating significant growth potential. The company expects to deliver an initial inferred Mineral Resource Estimate in the first half of 2026, advancing the project closer to development.

SuperMetalPrice Commentary:

Q2 Metals’ latest drilling results solidify Cisco’s position as a major lithium deposit in Quebec’s critical minerals landscape. The extensive intercepts with high lithium grades highlight the project’s potential to support growing lithium demand for battery materials. As the company advances toward its resource estimate, continued exploration success could attract strategic partnerships and bolster supply security for North America’s electric vehicle and energy storage sectors.
