Resolution Copper awarded about $110 million in contracts to Major Drilling America Inc. and Redpath USA Corporation. These contracts accelerate exploration and underground infrastructure development at the proposed copper project in Arizona.

Major Early Commitments Under Investment Program

The agreements are part of a $500 million investment program. This program started after the final environmental impact statement, record of decision, and land exchange. The funding drives physical progress on deep-hole drilling and shaft conversion to prepare the ore body for extraction.

Advanced Drilling and Underground Infrastructure

Major Drilling America, based in Salt Lake City, secured contracts for deep-hole directional core drilling. They will drill from the surface and from 6,800 feet underground using high-capacity rigs. Meanwhile, Nevada-based Redpath USA Corporation will execute the first phase of underground development. Their work includes converting deep shafts, establishing mine stations, and procuring specialized mining equipment.

Strengthening Domestic Copper Supply Chains

Once operational, Resolution Copper could supply up to 25 percent of United States copper demand. The project aims to establish a secure mine-to-metal supply chain. This supply chain will support power grids, data centers, advanced manufacturing, and national security.
