Silver One Targets High-Grade Silver at Phoenix Silver Project

Canada-based Silver One Resources has launched advanced exploration at its wholly owned Phoenix Silver project in Arizona. The company employs drone-borne magnetometry and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) to map subsurface structures. These surveys focus on the 417 area, drilled in 2024, and the historic Mexican Mine area, located about 600 meters west.

Drilling in the 417 area intersected vein structures, yielding up to 3,800 g/t silver and 0.97% copper over 0.35 meters. However, native silver mineralization suggested by high-grade fragments near the surface was not fully encountered. Silver One intends to use geophysical data to refine drilling and trenching targets.

Drone magnetometry surveys delineate linear features such as veins, dykes, and structures potentially linked to silver mineralization. Meanwhile, GPR will detect metallic masses, subsurface structures, and historic workings, including those near the old Mexican Mine. This combined approach aims to locate high-grade silver pockets within mineralized lenses and shoots.

Expanding Geophysical Surveys to Maximize Exploration Potential

Silver One plans to expand geophysical surveys to the Nuggets North area, where silver fragments weigh over 20 kg and measure up to 40 cm in length. If surveys return positive results, the company may conduct a gravity survey to further refine drilling targets.

Additionally, induced polarization and magnetotellurics surveys in the southern property aim to target porphyry copper deposits. Final results are expected by early 2026. The Phoenix Silver project lies within the Arizona Silver Belt, near Globe, Arizona, a highly productive copper region. Since February 2024, Silver One has held a 100% interest in the project.

SuperMetalPrice Commentary:

Silver One’s use of drone magnetometry and GPR underscores the growing role of advanced geophysical techniques in silver exploration. By integrating these surveys, the company can identify high-grade silver pockets more effectively and target drilling with precision. Market participants should watch the Phoenix Silver project for potential discoveries that could influence North American silver supply and strategic exploration trends.
