Livium and Mineral Resources Advance Lithium Recovery Technology

Mineral Resources

Australian recycling firm Livium and lithium miner Mineral Resources (MinRes) have partnered. They will optimize the commercialization of technology. This technology increases lithium recovery from spodumene waste.

Livium’s extraction technology can boost lithium recovery. Specifically, it increases recovery from fine and low-grade spodumene waste by up to 50%. This advancement holds significant potential for the lithium industry.

Under the joint development agreement, MinRes provides raw materials at no cost. Livium contributes its technology. Additionally, Livium manages production processes and studies. This collaboration aims to maximize lithium extraction efficiency.

The agreement represents a crucial step in sustainable lithium production. Moreover, it addresses the challenge of waste material utilization. SuperMetalPrice will track the progress of this promising partnership.

Enhanced Lithium Extraction Efficiency

This innovative technology enhances lithium extraction. Consequently, it reduces waste in the mining process. It also improves the overall efficiency of lithium production.
